137 na panukalang batas, naipasa ng Senado sa unang 100 days ni SP Chiz Escudero

Iniulat ni Senate President Chiz Escudero na umabot sa 137 na panukalang batas ang naipasa sa loob ng 100 araw ng kanyang pamumuno bilang lider ng Mataas na Kapulungan ng Kongreso.

Ayon kay Escudero, sa mga panukalang batas na ito, 62 ay may national application habang 75 ay may mga local concern.

Lahat aniya ito ay nagawa sa loob ng 26 session days mula nitong July 22.

Sa mga panukalang naaprubahan ng Senado, 13 aniya ang napirmahan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. bilang ganap na mga batas.

Habang ang mga nalalabi pa aniyang priority bills ay inaasahang maaprubahan sa pagbabalik sesyon ng Kongreso sa Nobyembre.

Sa mga panukalang batas na naaprubahan ng Senado ang 12 priority measures ng Marcos administration gaya ng:

  • Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers,
  • Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act,
  • Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises to Maximize Opportunities for Reinvigorating the Economy or CREATE MORE bill,
  • Self-Reliant Defense Posture Revitalization bill,
  • Philippine Maritime Zones bill,
  • Philippine Archipelagic Sea Lanes bill,
  • Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning(ARAL) bill,
  • VAT on Digital Services bill, at ang
  • Enterprise-Based Education and Training Framework bill.
