Welcome sa Department of Finance (DOF) ang 1.9 percent September Inflation, pinakamamaba sa loob ng apat na taon.

Ayon kay Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, isa itong napakagandang balita para sa mga Pilipino dahil patuloy na bumababa ang presyo ng mga bilihin sa bansa.

Ginawa ni Recto ang pahayag kasunod ng natamong headline inflation rate sa nakalipas na Setyembre na 1.9 percent, kung saan hinigitan pa nito ang inflation outlook ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas na nasa 2% to 2.9%.

Dahil sa inflation outturn, inaasahang papalo sa tinatayang 3.2 percent ang full year inflation rate, oportunidad para sa Sentral Bank na muling magbawas ng monetary policy rate.
