Nanumpa na kay Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli Remolona ang bagong Deputy Governor ng Sentral Bank.
Si Atty. Elmore Capule ay third placer noong 1987 Bar Examination at dating assistant governor noong 2016, at head ng Office of the General Counsel and Legal Services noong 2013.
Papalitan ni Capule si Deputy Gov. Eduardo Bobier na responsable sa pagtitiyak ng prudent at effective management ng resources ng BSP.
Kabilang sa kaniyang malaking naging ambag sa BSP ay ang pagpasa ng New Central Bank Act, National Payment System Act, Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act, at Services Consumer Protection Act.
Siya ay na-promote dahil sa kaniyang mga na-accomplished sa Sentral Bank at dahil sa kanyang exemplary performance.
Nagtuturo din si Capule ng banking laws sa Ateneo de Manila University at dating professor ng Far Eastern University Institute of Law. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
