Pinalagan ng mga lider ng Kamara ang paratang ni Vice President Sara Duterte na kulang sa leadership skills ang Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Buwelta ni Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzales Jr., si Duterte ang may pagkukulang bilang lider lalo’t nahaharap siya ngayon sa maling paggamit ng pondo ng Department of Education (DepEd) noong siya ang kalihim nito.
Sinabi pa ni Gonzales na tinututukan ng Pangulong Marcos ang ekonomiya, ugnayang panlabas, at pagbibigay ng nararapat na tulong sa vulnerable sector, at hindi ang pag-iwas sa pananagutan.
“President Marcos is delivering where it matters—stabilizing the economy, fighting inflation, ensuring food security, and making sure the most vulnerable are provided with vital support. That’s real leadership, not the evasion and incompetence we saw from Duterte,” diin ni Gonzales.
Sinabi naman ni House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe, ang pagbibitiw ng Bise Presidente bilang kalihim ng DepEd ang pinakamagandang desisyong kaniyang ginawa dahil sa hindi naman niya natugunan ang problema sa sektor ng edukasyon.
“Her departure saved the education system from further decline. Under her, DepEd was in free fall, and the entire education sector suffered.The appointment by President Marcos of Secretary Sonny Angara is a huge step toward repairing the damage she left behind,” sabi ni Dalipe.
Binigyan-diin din ni Dalipe ang pagtinding ni PBBM sa karapatan ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea laban sa China, habang tikom naman ang bibig ng Pangalawang Pangulo.
“President Marcos is standing up for our country on the global stage, especially against China. His diplomatic efforts are a clear mark of strong, decisive leadership,” punto ni Dalipe.
Kaya naman naniniwala ang mga mambabatas na ang pag-atake ng Bise Presidente sa Pangulo ay isa lamang pag-iwas upang isisi sa iba ang kaniyang sariling mga pagkukulang.
Kapwa naman iginiit nina Gonzales at Dalipe ang kanilang buong suporta kay Pangulong Marcos at nanawagan sa Pangalawang Pangulo na sagutin na lang mga mga isyu laban sa kaniya kaysa atakihin at siraan ang ibang tao.
“The Vice President’s attack on the President is pure deflection. She’s the one who failed as a leader, and now she’s trying to shift the blame. The Filipino people see through this,” ani Gonzales.
