Dakong ala-una ng madaling araw nang magsimula ang sunog na agad itinaas sa ikatlong alarma dahil gawa ang mga bahay sa light materials.

Kinilala ang apat na taong gulang na batang lalaking nasawi na si Aaron Lance Apostol.

Ayon kay SFO4 Judy Saberon mag-isang natutulog ang bata sa ikalawang palapag nang bahay kung saan gamit lamang nito ay isang rechargable na ilaw at electric fan na posibleng nag-overheat.

Aabot sa walong bahay ang nasunog habang 16 na pamilya ang apektado at nasa higit isa’t kalahating milyong piso ang halaga ng mga natupok na ari-arian.
