Tiwala ang Philippine National Police (PNP) na may pinatatakbong Private Armed Group (PAG) si dating Negros Oriental Governor Henry Pryde Teves.

Ito ang inihayag ni PNP Chief, Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. kasunod ng isinagawang raid ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) sa opisina ng dating governor sa Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental, kamakailan.

Nasamsam sa isinagawang operasyon ang samu’t sari at matataas na kalibre ng armas gayundin ang iba’t ibang uri ng mga bomba o pampasabog na pagmamay-ari ng dating gobernador.

Ayon kay Azurin, tinitingnan na nila kung nagamit na rin ang mga nasamsam na armas sa iba pang mga krimen sa lalawigan kaya’t ito ang sentro ng ginagawang imbestigasyon ng Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO).
