3 rail transits, pansamantalang suspendido ngayong Semana Santa

Ayon sa Department of Transportation, suspendido ang biyahe ng Light Rail Transit Line 2, Metro Rail Transit Line 3 at Philippine National Railways mula Huwebes Santo hanggang Linggo ng Pagkabuhay.

Sinabi ni LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera na magsisilbing pagkakataon ang apat na araw na shutdown para mapanatiling maayos at ligtas ang mga pasilidad, equipment at tren.

Kasabay nito ay humingi ng pang-unawa si Cabrera sa mga commuter at pinayuhan ang mga ito na planuhin ang biyahe ngayong Holy Week.

Nagpaliwanag naman ang PNR na itinaon ang pagkukumpuni ng mga tren at riles sa Semana Santa upang hindi ito makaapekto sa biyahe ng mga pasahero.

Babalik ang operasyon ng LRT-2, MRT-3 at PNR sa Lunes, April 10 kahit na idineklara rin itong holiday. | ulat ni Hajji Kaamino
