Kaso ng dengue sa QC, tumaas ng 176%

Tumaas ang bilang ng mga kaso ng dengue na naitala sa Quezon City sa unang bahagi ng taong 2023.

Sa pinakahuling tala ng QC Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit, aabot sa 690 kaso ng dengue ang naiulat sa lungsod mula Enero hanggang nitong Abril 8.

Katumbas ito ng 176% na pagtaas o 440 na kaso kumpara noong 2022.

Kabilang sa mga lugar na may mataas na dengue cases ang Brgy. Tatalon, Pasong Tamo, at Tandang Sora.

May isa ring kumpirmadong dengue related death sa Brgy. Krus na Ligas.

Dahil dito, patuloy namang pinaiigting ng lokal na pamahalaan ang hakbang para maprotektahan ang mga residente kontra dengue.

Pinapayuhan din ng LGU ang mga residente mayroong maramdamang sintomas ng dengue na agad magtungo at magpatingin sa pinakamalapit na health center.
