Kinalampag ni Anakalusugan Party-list Representative Ray Reyes ang National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), na gampanan ang mandato nito at tiyaking may sapat na suplay ng kuryente ngayong summer season.
Ayon sa mambabatas, mahalaga ang stable na power supply upang masiguro ang dekalidad na serbisyo ng mga health facility.
Diin nito, na buhay ng mga pasyente ang nakataya kaya’t hindi dapat magkaroon ng pagkaantala sa suplay ng kuryente.
Bago ito, ay nagbabala na ang NGCP sa posibilidad ng power interruptions sa kasagsagan ng summer dahil sa mataas na demand.
“We urge the NGCP to make sure that we have adequate power supply all throughout the summer season when demand is at its highest.
