Hospital bed at ICU occupancy rate sa NCR, bahagyang tumaas — OCTA

Tumaas ang bilang ng mga naoospital dahil sa COVID-19 sa Metro Manila.

Ayon kay OCTA Research Team Fellow Dr. Guido David, bahagyang umakyat sa 30% ang hospital occupancy rate sa NCR nitong May 17 mula 28% na occupancy rate noong May 10.

Bukod dito, umakyat din sa 25% mula sa dating 23% ang Intensive Care Unit occupancy rate sa rehiyon.

Una nang sinabi ng Private Hospitals Association of the Philippine (PHAPI) na tumaas ang admission ng mga pasyenteng may COVID-19 sa mga pribadong ospital sa bansa.

Samantala, nanatili naman sa 26% ang 7-day positivity rate o bilang ng mga nagpopositibo mula sa mga na-test para sa COVID-19 sa Metro Manila.

Habang ang nationwide positivity rate naman ay naitala sa 24.1%. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
