12.9 milyong pisong tanim na marijuana, winasak ng PNP, AFP at PDEA sa Sulu

Winasak sa pinagsanib na operasyon ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang 12.9 na milyong pisong halaga ng tanim na marijuana sa Sulu.

Ang mga tanim na marijuana ay natuklasan sa isang 15,000 metro kwadradong plantasyon sa Sitio Tubig Baba, Brgy. Pitogo, Kalingalan Caluang, Sulu kamakalawa.

Ang marijuana plantation ay pinamamahalaan umano ng isang MADDI KHAN alyas “MADDI,” at kanyang mga kasamahan.

Binati ni PNP Chief Police General Benamin Acorda Jr. ang mga operatiba sa matagumpay na operasyon at sinabing malaking hakbang ito sa pag-“eradicate” ng iligal na droga sa rehiyon.

Pinasalamatan din ng PNP Chief ang mga residente ng Kalingalan Caluang, Sulu, sa kanilang suporta sa pagsasakatuparan ng operasyon. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
