5-year Regional Development Plan ng CALABARZON, nakasentro sa pagpapalakas ng industrial sector

Pinuri ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) ang Region 4-A o CALABARZON, matapos makumpleto at pormal na ilunsad ang Regional Development Plan para sa taong 2023 hanggang 2028.

Sa kanyang mensahe, sinabi ni Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, na nakasentro ang stratehiya ng rehiyon sa pagpapayabong ng industrial sector.

Lima ang priority industries sa CALABARZON, na kinabibilangan ng information technology-business process management o IT-BPM, metals, electronics, automotives at petrochemicals.

Inihayag din ni Balisacan, na itinataguyod ng stratehiya ang balanseng kaunlaran kung saan palalakasin ang services sector at isusulong ang modernisasyon ng agrikultura.

Dagdag pa nito, ang key development strategies ay nakahanay sa “AmBisyon Natin 2040” at development goals na nakapaloob sa 5-year Philippine Development Plan. | ulat ni Hajji Kaamiño
