Japan, nagkaloob ng health clinic na may Birthing Facility sa Mountain Province

Pinasinayaan ng Embahada ng Japan at lokal na pamahalaan ng Paracelis, Mountain Province ang isang barangay health clinic na mayroong paanakan na nagkakahalaga ng higit apat na milyong piso.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay bahagi ng Official Development Assistance ng Japan na naaprubahan noong 2019 sa pamamagitan ng Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Project.

Dinaluhan ang nasabing turnover ceremony ni Tokiko Nishimura, Second Secretary mula sa Embahada ng Japan at ng mga lokal na opisyal ng Paracelis sa pangunguna ni Mayor Marcos Ayangwa.

Ayon kay Bb. Nishimura, aabot sa 12,000 residente mula sa Barangay Palitud at sa mga karatig-barangay nito na Bantay, Anonat, at Butique ang inaasahang makikinabang mula sa bagong health facility kung saan ang mga buntis sa nabanggit na mga barangay ay magkakaroon ng madaling access at makakapanganak ng ligtas.

Naniniwala ang Japan na ang mga proyektong ito ay magpapatibay sa pagkakaibigan ng Japan at Pilipinas makakatulong sa pagpapanatili ng strategic partnerhip ng dalawang bansa.   | ulat ni Gab Humilde Villegas
