DAR, namahagi ng titulo ng lupa sa mga magsasaka sa Negros Occidental

Pinangunahan ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) ang pamamahagi ng Certificates of Land Ownership Award sa 57 magsasaka sa Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

Bahagi ito ng pagtalima sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na magkaloob ng lupang sakahan sa mga magsasaka na walang sariling titulo.

Ayon sa Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer na si Ramon Silvino, 21 ektarya ng agricultural lands ang ipinamahagi sa qualified ARBs na ilang taon nang inaararo ang lupain.

Pinaalalahanan din nito ang ARBs na bilang landowners ay kailangan nilang magbayad ng buwis upang makaiwas sa illegal arrangements na maaaring mag-disqualify sa kanila bilang benepisyaryo.

Umaasa naman ang DAR na sa pamamagitan nito ay giginhawa ang buhay ng mga magsasaka at magiging mabunga ang ani.  | ulat ni Hajji Kaamiño
