DMW, nagpadala ng mahigit 100 caregivers at nurses sa Japan

Nagpadala ang Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) ng 105 na caregivers at nurses sa Japan ngayong araw.

Ito ay sa ilalim ng Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement na isang komprehensibong bilateral investment at free agreement sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa.

Layon ng naturang kasunduan na paigtingin ang trade at investment opportunities ng Pilipinas at Japan.

Ayon kay Migrant Workers Undersecretary for Licensing and Adjudication Services Bernard Olalia, isa ang Pilipinas sa mga labor-sending country sa Japan, partikular na sa kanilang health sector.

Maaari namang kumita na nasa P100,000 kada buwan ang mga Filipino caregiver at nurse sa Japan.

Batay sa datos, simula 2009 hanggang 2023 mahigit 3,000 Filipino caregivers at nurses na ang naipadala ng DMW sa Japan sa ilalim ng Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement. | ulat ni Diane Lear
