Pabor si Rizal representative at House Committee on Labor and Employment Chair Fidel Nograles sa planong pagbuo ng National Nursing Advisory Council (NNAC).
Aniya, susuportahan niya ang hakbang basta’t matitiyak na ‘well represented’ ang bawat stakeholder sa naturang sektor.
Ang pagbuo sa NNAC ay inihayag ni Health Secretary Ted Herbosa sa pagnanais na mas matutukan at matugunan ang problemang kinahaharap ng mga nurse sa bansa kasama na ang pagpuno sa plantilla positions sa government hospitals.
Payo naman ng mambabatas na magkaroon ng dayalogo kasama ang stakeholders, upang mas magkaroon ng pangmatagalan na solusyon kaysa temporary o pansamantalang tugon.
“We should have a dialogue first, then craft a workable strategy to address the shortage, with the view towards implementing a long-term solution instead of temporary measures. Sec. Herbosa is showing us that he is willing to listen to the stakeholders of his sector.
