Mahigit 8,000 baril ng mga halal na opisyal, paso na ang lisensya — PNP

Mahigit sa 8,000 baril na nakarehistro sa mga halal na opisyal ang nabigong i-renew ang lisensya.

Ito ang iniulat ni Philippine National Police Civil Security Group (PNP-CSG) Director, Police Brigadier General Benjamin Silo Jr. kaugnay ng kampanya ng PNP laban sa loose firearms, na bahagi ng ipinatutupad na seguridad sa paparating na Barangay at Sanguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Ayon kay Silo, ang mga naturang baril na paso ang lisensya ay 27 porsiyento ng mahigit 30,000 baril na nakarehistro sa mga halal na opisyal mula mambabatas hanggang barangay chairman.

Aabot naman aniya sa 50 porsyento ng mga baril na nabigong ipa-renew ang lisensya ang nakarehistro sa mga barangay official.

Pinakamarami aniya sa mga ito ay sa Region 4A, kasunod ang National Capital Region (NCR), at pangatlo ang Region 3 o Central Luzon.
