PH Nurses Association sa Ilocos Norte, positibo sa plano ni Sec. Herbosa na kunin ang unlicensed nurse

Positibo ang pananaw ng Philippine Nurses Association Ilocos Norte chapter sa plano ni Department of Health Sec. Ted Herbosa na kunin ang mga Nursing graduates na wala pang lisensya sa mga DOH Hospitals.

Sa eksklusibong panayam ng Radyo Pilipinas Laoag kay PNA Ilocos Norte chapter President Josephine Ceria, maganda ang plano ng kalihim na kunin ang mga nagtapos ng nursing kahit wala pang lisensya dahil pwede silang makatulong parin sa mga hospital kagaya ng pagkuha ng vital signs, at profile ng mga pasyente.

Ngunit dahil wala pang lisensya ang mga nasabing nurses ay hindi sila pwedeng magsagawa ng medikasyon, oral o injectable treatment, sa isang pasyente dahil posible itong ikasira sa pangalan ng pinagsisilbihang hospital.

Aniya, kailangan paring may mangasiwa na registered nurse sa mga unlicensed nurse kung sila ay makakapagtrabaho sa hospital.
Sinabi pa ni Ceria na hangad din na masunod ang Salary Standardization Law para sa nurse kung saan ay Salary Grade 18 o katumbas ng 45,203 pesos ang kanilang sweldo.
