‘All set’ na ang Marikina City government para sa gaganaping opening ceremony ng 2023 Palarong Pambansa mamayang hapon.

Ayon kay Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro, umulan o uminit man ay tuloy pa rin ang opening ceremony mamaya kung saan aniya ay nalinis na ang Marikina Sports Center na venue ng Athletics, Footbal, Swimming, Tennis at Volleyball gayundin ang iba pang gym na gagamitin sa ibang sports kung saan ay nalinis na rin ang Marikina River Park.

Kaugnay nito ay kasalukuyang nagsasagawa ng final technical rehearsal ang lungsod ng Marikina dahil isa sa panauhing pandangal mamaya si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte para saksihan ang taunang sports activity ng Department of Education.

Samantala, sinabi naman ni Mayor Teodoro na kung sakaling uulan, ay malilimitahan ang ilang aktibidad at pwedeng ma-extend ang petsa ng palaro. | ulat ni Arrian Jeff Ignacio
