Mga Lokal na Pamahalaan sa Quezon, kinilala ng OWWA sa pagtataguyod sa kapakanan ng OFWs

Kinilala ng Overseas Workers and Welfare Administration (OWWA) ang mahalagang tungkulin ng mga lokal na pamahalaan sa pagtataguyod sa kapakanan ng mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) gayundin sa kanilang pamilya.

Ito ay makaraang lumagda ng isang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang OWWA Regional Office 4A at ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Quezon.

Sa ilalim ng kasunduan, magtatayo ang OWWA ng OFW Help Desk sa lahat ng bayan sa lalawigan, upang mapabilis gayundin ay mapag-ibayo pa ang paghahatid nila ng mga programa at serbisyo.

Layon ng inisyatibang ito na mapaigting pa ang ugnayan ng OWWA at local government units (LGUs) sa pagbibigay ng mas pinagandang serbisyo sa kababayang OFWs. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
