Mga magsasaka sa Central Visayas, maaari nang magbenta ng farm products sa BJMP at NNC

Magsusuplay na ng pagkain sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) at National Nutrition Council (NNC) sa Central Visayas Region ang agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).

Ito ang napagkasunduan ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), BJMP at NNC para matulungan ang mga magsasaka na maibenta ang kanilang agricultural products.

Ang suplay ng pagkain na bibilhin ng BJMP ay para sa persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at ang NNC ay para naman sa Tutok Kainan Supplementation Program nito.

Ayon kay DAR Regional Director Leomides Villareal, palalakasin ng programa ang livelihood activities at dagdag na kita sa mga magsasaka.

Ang proyekto ay isinagawa sa ilalim ng Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty program, na layong mabawasan ang gutom at matiyak ang food nutrition security. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
