₱117-M ayuda para sa mga sinalanta ng Super Typhoon Egay, inihahanda na ng Office of the Speaker at Tingog Party-list

Kabuuang ₱117-million na halaga ng relief goods at tulong pinansyal ang inilaan ng tanggapan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez at Tingog Party-list para sa mga biktima ng Super Typhoon Egay sa Northern Luzon.

Ayon kay Romualdez, sisimulan ang pamamahagi ng tulong ngayong Huwebes.

“We hope the aid will ease the pain and suffering of our people who are affected by the super howler,” ani Speaker Romualdez.

Nasa ₱22-million sa ₱117-million na ayuda ay hinugot mula sa personal calamity fund ng House Speaker.

Ang nalalabing ₱95-million ay sa pamamagitan ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Hahatiin ang ₱117-million na tulong sa:

1. Ilocos Norte, 1st District (represented by Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander Marcos): ₱1-million cash assistance, ₱2-million relief goods (5,000 packs), at ₱10-million AICS.
2. Ilocos Sur, 2nd District (Deputy Speaker Kristine
   Singson-Meehan): ₱1-million cash, ₱2-million relief goods (5,000 packs), at ₱10 million AICS.
3. Cagayan, 1st District (Rep. Ramon Nolasco Jr.): ₱2-million
   cash, ₱4-million relief goods (10,000 packs), at ₱20-million AICS.
4. Cagayan, 2nd District (Rep. Baby Aline Vargas-Alfonso): ₱1-million cash assistance, ₱4-million relief goods (10,000 food packs), at ₱20-million AICS.
5. Ilocos Sur, 1st District (Rep. Ronald Singson): ₱5-million AICS.
6. Cagayan, 3rd District (Rep. Joseph “Jojo” Lara): ₱1-million
   cash, ₱1-million halaga ng relief goods (2,500 food packs), at ₱10-million
   AICS.
7. Benguet, Lone District (Rep. Eric Go Yap): ₱10-million para sa AICS, ₱500,000 na cash assistance, at ₱1-million na halaga ng relief goods (2,500 food packs).
8. Baguio City (Rep. Mark Go): ₱500,000 cash, ₱1-million na halaga ng relief goods (2,500 food packs), at ₱10-million para sa AICS.

Ibayong pag-iingat naman ang paalala ng House leader sa mga taga-Norte mula sa patuloy na pag-ulan, pagbaha at pagguho ng lupa.

Nanawagan din ito sa mga kinuukulang ahensya at local government units na agad magkasa ng pagsasa-ayos ng daan at imprasktraktura oras na bumuti na ang panahon. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
