10 QC-based hospitals, tumanggap ng P50-M medical assistance fund

Nakatanggap ng P50-milyong medical assistance fund ang 10 government hospitals sa Quezon City, upang makatulong sa tuloy tuloy na pagbibigay serbisyo sa mga kapus palad na Pilipino.

Kasunod ito ng nilagdaang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pangunguna nina Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva at Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, para sa pag-turnover ng medical assistance funds mula sa Department of Health (DOH) sa mga ospital sa lungsod.

Bahagi ito ng Medical Access Program (MAP) fund na inisponsor ni Sen. Villanueva.

Kabilang sa mga ospital na benepisyaryo ng pondo ang East Avenue Medical Center, Lung Center of the Philippines , National Children’s Hospital, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Philippine Children’s Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Quezon City General Hospital, Quirino Memorial Medical Center at Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

Sa kanyang mensahe, nagpaabot ng pasasalamat si Mayor Belmonte kay Sen. Villanueva sa kanyang naging tulong para mas maraming residente ng QC ang maabutan ng serbisyong medikal.

Sinabi naman ni Sen. Villanueva, na makakaasa ang publiko na patuloy nitong itataguyod ang mga programang pangkalusugan.
