Nakumpleto na ng Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) ang pagtatayo ng walong poste na bumagsak kahapon sa Binondo, Maynila.

Ngayong araw ay isang establisimyento na lamang ang walang kuryente dahil ikinakabit pa ang mga malalaking kable.

Tinatayang bago mag-tanghali ay maibabalik na ng Meralco ang suplay ng kuryente sa mga naapektuhan na gusali.

Samantala, sa ngayon ay clearing operations na lamang ang ginagawa ng MERALCO at mga kawani ng telecommunications company para madaanan na rin ang saradong kalsada sa Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz sa Binondo, Maynila.
