Economic managers ng administrasyon, tiniyak na resonable pa ang utang ng Pilipinas

Inusisa ng mga senador ang economic managers ng administrasyon tungkol sa lumalaking utang ng Pilipinas.

Sa briefing ng Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) sa senado para sa panukalang 2024 National Budget, sinabi ni National Treasurer Rosalia de Leon na inaasaahang tataas pa sa P15.8 trillion ang utang ng Pilipinas sa susunod na taon.

Nais malaman ni Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel kung bakit hindi dapat ipag-alala ng mga Pilipino ang lumulobong utang ng Pilipinas.

Pinahayag naman ni Senador Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa na marami ang nangangamba na hindi pa pinapanganak ang kanilang mga anak ay may utang na ang mga ito.

Pinaliwanag naman ni Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno na resonable at manageable pa rin ang 61 percent debt to GDP ratio ng bansa.

Ito lalo na aniya’t gagamitin para sa pagpapagawa ng mga imprastraktura ang mga inuutang ng Pilipinas kaya inaasahang kaakibat nito ang pag-unlad rin ng ating ekonomiya.

Dinagdag naman ni NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, kasama sa layuning umunlad ang eknomiya ang pagkonsidera sa internal at external resources.
