Nagbigay ng tulong pinansyal ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Juan sa Lalawigan ng Ilocos Sur na lubhang napinsala ng bagyong Egay at habagat.

Ayon kay San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, naghandog ng P500,000 ang lokal na pamahalaan mula sa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund para sa Ilocos Sur upang magamit sa disaster and relief operations ng lalawigan.

Sinabi naman ni Zamora, na pormal siyang makikipagpulong kay Ilocos Sur Vice Governor Ryan Singson at mga opisyal ng lalawigan sa susunod sa linggo.

Matatandaang isinailalaim ang Lalawigan ng Ilocos Sur at Ilocos Norte sa state of calamity dahil sa iniwang pinsalan ng bagyo at habagat, kung saan libo-libong pamilya at indibidwal ang naapekuhan. | ulat ni Diane Lear
