PNP, nag-donate ng ₱3-M halaga ng relief goods sa mga apektadong pulis, residente sa mga binagyong rehiyon

Aabot na sa ₱3-milyong piso ang halaga ng relief goods na naipagkaloob ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa mga pulis at residente sa mga rehiyon na apektado ng nagdaang bagyo.

Ayon kay PNP Chief Police General Benjamin Acorda, ito ay sa pamamagitan ng kanilang “Adopt a region program”.

Nagpasalamat naman si Gen. Acorda at si PNP Director for Police-Community Relations, Police Major General Edgar Alan Okubo sa Fraternal Order of Eagles sa pagbibigay ng mahalagang kagamitan at tauhan para suportahan ang rescue-and-relief operations para sa mga biktima ng bagyo.

Ayon sa PNP chief, patuloy ang pakikipagtulungan ng PNP sa Special Task Force Alalayang Agila at Regional Eagles Coalition, sa paghahatid ng tulong sa Cagayan, Ilocos Region, Benguet, Abra, Tarlac, at Pangasinan, na lubhang naapektohan ng bagyong Egay.

Tiniyak ni Gen. Acorda na committed ang PNP sa paghahatid ng tulong sa mga apektadong rehiyon, kung saan kasalukuyang naka-deploy ang 200 Search and Rescue (SAR) Teams ng PNP bilang bahagi ng relief operations ng pamahalaan.  | ulat ni Leo Sarne
