Ibinida ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa mga mambabatas na nakapagtala ang Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management o PS-DBM ng mahigit sa P681 million na “savings” nitong 2022.
Ayon kay DBM Sec. Amenah Pangandaman, ito ay bunsod na rin aniya ng “transparent procurement” sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni PS-DBM Executive Director Dennis Santiago.
Ayon sa kalihim, ito na ang pinakamataas na naitalang halaga ng savings mula noong 2020.
Malaking bahagi aniya ng natipid ay bunsod ng “bulk procurement” at market price monitoring and validation.
