BSP binigyang-diin ang kahandaan sa pagbabantay ng inflation targets ng bansa

Kinilala ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas o BSP ang kakayahan nito na pangalagaan ang inflation target ng pamahalaang pambansa sa isang pulong na ginanap sa Doha, Qatar.

Ayon kay BSP Deputy Governor Francisco Dakila Jr., inaasahan na magse-settle sa 5.6% average ang inflation rate para sa taong 2023, habang sa taong 2024 inaasahan itong aabot sa 3.3% habang 3.4% naman sa 2025.

At para matugunan ang inflation pressures, iba’t ibang pamamaraan ang isinasagawa ng Central Bank tulad ng pagtaas ng interest rate kasama ang iba pang mga hakbang.

Tinukoy din ng BSP ang mga oportunidad sa Islamic banking at finance sa Pilipinas na inaasahang magpapalawak ng financing options para sa mga Filipino Muslim and Non-Muslim. | ulat ni EJ Lazaro
