Inilunsad na ng National Housing Authority (NHA) ang kauna-unahang People’s Caravan na ginanap sa Villa de Adelaida Housing Project sa Brgy. Halang, Naic, Cavite.
May 2,000 benepisyaryo ang dumalo sa caravan na may temang “Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa.”
Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni NHA Assistant General Manager Alvin Feliciano ang kahalagahan ng caravan sa mga benepisyaryo.
Nagsama-sama ang iba’t ibang ahensiya para ipaalam ang lahat ng programa at proyekto na maaaring pakinabangan ng mamamayang Pilipino.
Ang mga benepisyaryo ay mula sa mga proyekto sa pabahay ng NHA na Bronzeville 1 & 2, Bronzeville Extension, Belmont Homes 1 & 2, at Harbour Homes.
Kabilang sa mga nagbigay ng serbisyo ang Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), DOST-Food Nutrition Research Institute, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Agriculture (DA), DA-Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) at DA-KADIWA Store.
Kasama din sa Caravan ang Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department Of Information And Communications Technology (DICT),Municipality of Naic at Provincial government ng Cavite.| ulat ni Rey Ferrer
