“The price caps under EO 39 are designed to protect consumers from unreasonably high prices, and I call on traders and retailers to prioritize the welfare of the public over excessive profit margins.” sabi ni Enverga

“A permanent solution is increasing production, which is the thrust of the President for the 2023-2024 budget. EO 39 is a necessary measure to protect the welfare of our citizens, particularly those in the low-income bracket. We must continue working towards increasing rice production and implementing policies that promote the long-term stability and affordability of this essential staple food for all Filipinos.” dagdag ni Enverga. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
