LTO at PNP, mas paiigtingin ang pagtutulungan vs. kriminalidad at road safety

Nagpulong ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) at Philippine National Police (PNP), upang mas paigtingin ang pagtutulungan laban sa kriminalidad at road safety.

Kabilang sa natalakay sa pulong ay kung paano paiigtingin ng dalawang ahensya ang monitoring system sa mga sasakyan, partikular na ‘yung mga nagamit sa mga kriminal na aktibidad at sangkot sa insidente ng carnapping.

Ayon kay LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, malaking tulong ang pinagsanib na teknolohiya ng LTO at PNP upang ma-maximize ang monitoring system, at agarang makatutugon dahil real-time ang paglalabas ng mga datos.

Ani Mendoza, mayroong mga camera system ang LTO na makatutulong sa pagpapaigting ng monitoring system ng ahensya.

Plano rin aniya ng LTO na bumili at mag-install pa ng mas maraming camera sa mga entry at exit points ng tollways.

Tiniyak naman ng opisyal na umpisa pa lamang ito ng pakikipagtulungan sa mga kapulisan. Marami pa aniyang nakalatag na mga programa sa pagitan ng LTO at PNP laban sa kriminalidad at mga hakbang sa road safety. | ulat ni Diane Lear
