P34.3M flood control project, naitayo ng DPWH para sa mga residente ng Dipaculao, Aurora

Natapos nang maitayo ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang 1.33-lineal-kilometer flood control structure para bigyan ng proteksyon mula sa baha ang mga residente sa Dipaculao, Aurora.

Ayon kay DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller Tolentino, ang flood control structure na ito sa Salay Creek ay magbibigay ng epektibong proteksyon sa mga kalapit na residential areas at agricultural lands mula sa malalakas na pag-ulan.

Ilang essential components na bahagi ng proyekto ay ang paglalagay box culvert na pinagtibay ng mga retaining wall na pwedeng daanan ng mga sasakyan. Mayroon din itong concrete slope protection na itinayo sa parehong gilid ng Salay Creek.

Umabot naman sa P34.3 milyon, ang kabuuang gastos ng nasabing proyekto na pinondohan sa ilalim ng 2023 General Appropriations Act (GAA).| ulat ni EJ Lazaro
