300 karagdagang pulis, ide-deploy sa Cotabato City dahil sa insidente ng karahasan

Magde-deploy ng 300 karagdagang pulis ang Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonmous Region (PRO-BAR) sa Cotabato City para sa seguridad ng Baranggay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Ayon kay PNP Public Information Office Chief Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, manggagaling ang mga tropa sa Reserve Force ng PRO-BAR, bukod pa sa mga ipadadala mula sa Special Action Force (SAF) at Philippine Marines.

Ito’y kasunod ng insidenteng naganap sa Barangay Rosary Heights 12 kung saan nasawi ang tatlong indibidwal kabilang ang dalawang kandidato sa pagka-Barangay kagawad.

Nagkakabit lang umano ng mga campaign poster ang mga biktima nang bigla silang pagbabarilin.

Agad namang naaresto ang 12 suspek kabilang ang isang pulis.

Ayon kay Fajardo, kasalukuyang klasipikado sa Yellow Category ang Barangay Rosary Heights 12, pero posibleng itaas sa Red Category matapos na mapabilang sa kumpirmadong Election Related Incident (ERI) ang naturang krimen.  | ulat ni Leo Sarne
