BFAR, nagbigay ng tulong sa mga pamilya ng mga nasawing mangingisda sa Bajo de Masinloc

Nagbigay ng tulong ang Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) sa pamilya ng nakaligtas at nasawing mangingisda matapos banggain ng isang dayuhang barko ang kanilang bangka sa Bajo de Masinloc o Scarborough Shoal sa West Philippine Sea.

Sa naging pagbisita ni BFAR National Director Atty. Demosthenes Escoto sa lamay ng tatlong mangingisda sa Calapandayan, Subic sa Zambales, nagkaloob ang ahensya ng P20,000 cash assistance at food packages sa mga naulila.

Tiniyak din ng BFAR sa mga pamilya na libreng pag-aaralin sa kolehiyo ang mga anak ng mga nasawi sa maritime incident.

Magiging prayoridad din ang naturang mga scholar sa mga employment opportunity sa BFAR at DA.

Ang 11 namang survivors ay nakatanggap ng P2,000 na tulong pinansyal at food packs .

Nangako rin ang BFAR na tutulong sa pagpapaayos ng nasira nilang bangka para muli silang makapagsimula sa pangingisda. | ulat ni Diane Lear
