Patuloy pa rin ang paglalaan ng tulong ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa mga rehiyong tinamaan ng pananalasa ng Super Typhoon Egay noong Hulyo.
Ayon sa DSWD, nakatakda pa itong mamahagi ng ₱1.1 billion Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) sa mga naapektuhan ng nagdaang kalamidad.
Ito ay ilalaan sa mga apektado sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Regions I (Ilocos), II (Cagayan Valley), III (Central Luzon), at MIMAROPA sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
Ayon kay DSWD Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez, lalarga mula Oktubre hanggang Nobyembre ang pamamahagi ng ECT sa higit 178,000 kwalipikadong benepisyaryo.
