Higit 100 PDL registered voters sa Quezon City Jail, ‘di nakaboto

Hindi nagawang makaboto ang 130 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) registered voters sa Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory, sa katatapos na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE).

Ilan sa mga rason ayon kay City Warden Jail Superintendent Michelle Ng Bonto,  ay dahil may ilan ang sumasailalim sa PTB treatment sa isolation cells at hospital confinement.

Habang ang iba naman ay nawala sa voter’s list , kawalan ng balota, at inabutan ng COMELEC cut off.

Sa kabuuang 586 PDL registered voters sa loob ng pasilidad, 456 ang nakaboto.

Batay sa ulat ni Supt. Bonto, aabot sa 1,234 PDL na registered voters ang botante ngayong eleksyon.

 Habang 645 PDL sa kabuuang bilang ay nakalaya na, at umasang nakaboto na rin  sa kani- kanilang komunidad.

Nakaboto ang mga PDL sa loob ng jail facility, dahil sa inilagay  na special polling place ng Commission on Elections. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
