Inaaral ng House Ways and Means Committee ang pag-buo ng isang fiscal framework para sa pagpapatupad ng reclamation projects sa bansa.

Ayon kay Ways and Means Committee Chair at Albay 2nd district Rep. Joey Salceda, itutulak nila na imbes na i-remit sa Bureau of Treasury ang 50% ng dibidendo ng Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) ay ilaan na lang ito sa land acquisition o pagbili ng lupa ng National Housing Authority para sa kanilang housing projects.

Diin ni Salceda, higit namang mas matimbang ang RA 7279 kaysa sa Dividends Law.

Salig sa naturang batas, ang kalahati ng kita ng PRA ay dapat mapunta sa resettlement o low income house projects.

Maliban dito, isinusulong din na 20% ng land area sa naturang reclamation ay ilaan sa socialized housing projects.| ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
