Malaking tulong sa pagganap ng misyon ng pulis na “to serve and protect” ang mga bagong biling kagamitan ng PNP.

Ito ang inihayag ni PNP Chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. sa presentasyon ng mga bagong kagamitan ng PNP na nagkakahalaga ng ₱1.4 bilyon sa Camp Crame.

Kinabibilangan ito ng 44 na marked Light Transport Vehicles, 120 Personnel Carriers 4×4, 203 Patrol Jeep Single Cab 4×2, 5,755 ng 5.56mm Basic Assault Rifles, mga ammunition, 949 Enhanced Combat Helmets, 2,825 All-Purpose Vests at 959 All-Purpose tactical Vests.

Binilinan ng PNP Chief ang lahat ng kanilang mga tauhan na gamitin sa maayos at responsableng paraan ang bagong mga kagamitan na naayon sa pinakamataas na antas ng propesyonalismo.

Nagpasalamat naman si Gen. Acorda sa pambansang pamahalaan partikular kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa buong suporta sa PNP modernization program. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
