DBCC, makikipag-ugnayan sa Kongreso para sa mga bagong tax measure

Makikipagtulungan ang Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) sa Kongreso para sa pagsasabatas ng mga bagong tax measure.

Kabilang dito ang panukalang taxation on of passive income, financial intermediaries, at ang property valuation and assessment.

Sa pagpupulong na ginawa kamakailan ng DBCC na pinangungunahan ni Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno, nakalatag ang iba pang isinusulong nilang hakbang upang mapagbuti ang tax collection.

Ito ang value added tax on digital service providers, excise tax on sweetened beverages and junk foods, buwis sa mga pre mix alcoholic beverages, road users’ tax at ang excise tax on single-use plastics.

Isinusulong naman nila Diokno at National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan ang reduce tariffs sa ilang partikular na produkto gaya ng rice, corn at meat. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
