Mga taga Negros, malapit nang maramdaman ang “improved electric service”

Malapit nang maranasan ng mga taga Negros ang pagbabago pagdating sa mas pinahusay na electric service sa ilalim ng Joint Venture Agreement ng Primelectric Holdings Inc. at Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. o CENECO.

Sa panayam kay Primeelectric Holdings President Roel Castro, kapag tuluyan nang inaprubahan ng House Committee on legislative Franchise ang House Bill 9310, mamimintina na ang power distribution system sa mga pangunahing lungsod sa Negros.

Kabilang dito ang Bacolod, Silay, Talisay, at Bago gayundin ang Munsipyo ng Murcia at Don Salvador Benedicto, at lahat ng sa probinsya ng Negros Occidental.

Diin ni Castro, sa pamamagitan ng joint venture matitiyak na ang tuloy-tuloy na supply ng kuryente sa mga franchise.

Sa ngayon, madalas na nakararanas ang mga taga Negros ng power interruption, nagrereklamo na ang mga consumer sa nasabing mga probinsya.

Paliwanag pa ni Castro, masyado nang mataas ang systems loss at ipinapasa na ito sa mga consumer habang ang CENECO naman ay nalulugi ng P20 to P30 million pesos kada buwan.

Kumpiyansa ang opisyal, na dahil matagumpay ang kanilang operasyon ng kuryente sa Iloilo ay maisasagawa rin nila ito sa Bacolod at Central Negros.
