Sinuspinde muna ni Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan ang lahat ng mga ongoing water search and rescue training.

Ito’y kasunod ng insidente ng pagkamatay ng isa nilang personnel sa kasagsagan ng kanilang pagsasanay sa Coast Guard District Palawan.

Sabi ni Gavan, magsasagawa muna ng review ang PCG sa safety procedure ng Coast Guard Special Operations Force and cognizant units.

Noong Miyerkules, isang 27-anyos na personnel na may ranggong “Apprentice Seaman” ang nawalan ng malay sa kasagsagan ng kanilang pagsasanay sa paglangoy na may layo na 100 meters.
