Airports sa Mindanao, walang naitalang pagkasira matapos ang Magnitude 7.4 na lindol

Nanatiling normal ang operasyon ng mga paliparan sa Mindanao Peninsula matapos ang nangyaring Magnitude 7.4 na lindol sa Surigao Del Sur nitong Sabado.

Ayon sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), wala namang naitalang damage sa ilang pasilidad ng mga paliparan ng Butuan Airport, Surigao Airport, Siargao Airport, Tandag Airport, Bislig Airport, General Santos International Airport, Cotabato Airport, Allah Valley Airport, at Mati Airport.

Habang minor damge lamang ang naital sa Davao International Airport matapos ang isang tiles ang nagkabitak sa pader ng elevator ng naturang paliparan.

Samantala, patuloy naman ang Quick Response Team ng mga naturang paliparan upang patuloy na i-monitor ang runways at pag-asses ng mga pinsala sa mga paliparan. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
