Pinatitiyak ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), upang ang proteksyon at kaligtasan ng mga sibilyan at vulnerable communities, at mga naapektuhan sa naganap na pagsabog sa Dimaporo Gymnasium sa Mindanao State University, Marawi City, kaninang alas-7 y media ng umaga (December 3).
Ayon sa pangulo, mahigpit na rin ang koordinasyon ng Malacañang sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) at sa mga kinauukulang Local Government Units.
Nagpasalamat ang pangulo sa mabilis na pagtugon ng mga ito sa mga biktima.
Nagpahayag naman ng pinaka-mataas na antas ng pagkondena sa insidente, ang pangulo.
Ang mga terorista aniya na gumagawa ng karahansan laban sa mga inosente ay itinuturing na kalaban ng pamahalaan.
“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the senseless and most heinous acts perpetrated by foreign terrorists upon the Mindanao State University (MSU) and Marawi communities early this Sunday morning. Extremists who wield violence against the innocent will always be regarded as enemies to our society.” —Pangulong Marcos.
Habang patuloy pang pumapasok ang mga ulat at impormasyon kaugnay sa insidente, pinapayuhan ng pangulo ang publiko na manatiling kalmado, lalo’t mangangailangan aniya ng collective effort ang pagtugon sa inaidenteng ito.
At upang hindi mapalala ng mali o hindi opisyal na impormasyon ang insidente.
“As reports come in throughout the day, I enjoin all of us to remain calm, circumspect, and conscientious in our collective efforts to ensure that the horrific events of this morning are not further compounded by inaccurate, unvetted, and unofficial information.” —Pangulong Marcos.
Nagpaabot naman si Pangulong Marcos ng panalangin at pakikiramay sa pamilya ng mga biktimang at komunidad na naapeltuhan ng pinaka-huling insidente ng pag-atake sa kapayapaan.
“I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the victims, their loved ones, and the communities that have been the target of this latest assault on peace.” —Pangulong Marcos.
Pagsisiguro ng pangulo, mananagot ang mga nasa likod ng pagpapasabog na ito.
