Mariing kinondena ng mga mambabatas mula Mindanao ang naganap na pagpapasabog sa Mindanao State University linggo ng umaga, habang nagsasagawa ng pagdarasal ang ilan sa mga estudyante doon.
Ayon kay Deputy Speaker Yasser Alonto Balindong, sinisira ng mga salarin ang kapayapaang pinaghirapang makamit ng mga residente ng Marawi.
“This reprehensible act undermines the ongoing efforts of Marawi’s residents to establish and maintain peace and stability. Immediate measures must be taken to ensure accountability for those responsible for this cowardly act Violence has no rightful place in our society and demands unequivocal condemnation and decisive action by the authorities,” sabi ni Balindong.
Agad namang umaksyon si Lanao Del Sur First District Representative Zia Alonto Adiong at nagpadala ng team na tutulong sa mga ginagamot sa Amai Pakpak Medical Center. Aniya, sasagutin ng kaniyang tanggapan ang lahat ng gastos para sa mga sugatan.
Napapanahon na aniya na manindigan ang mga Muslim at Kristiyano laban sa walang katuturang galit dahil malinaw na ang ginawang pambobomba ay para maghasik ng magkakawatak-watak at kawalan ng tiwala.
Itinuturing naman ni Surigao del Norte Representative Ace Barbers ang insidente bilang isang heinous crime at maituturing na banta sa “academic freedom,” religious practices, at sa sagradong buhay ang pambobomba.
“Once again, this condemnable act not only inflicts immediate pain and suffering on the victims and their families but also undermines the pursuit of knowledge, respect of one’s religious faith, and sanctity of human life. I therefore denounce this bombing and call for a thorough and swift investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice. Finally, I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the victims and their families as I stand in solidarity with the MSU community in the face of this senseless violence,” ani Barbers.
Naniniwala naman si Cagayan de Oro Representative Rufus Rodriguez na ang insidenteng ito ay lalo pang magpapatibay sa hangarin ng kapwa Muslim at Kristiyano na isulong ang pagkakaisa at kapayapaan.
Umaasa rin ang mambabatas na agad mapapanagot ang mga may sala at maibibigay ang hustisya sa mga biktima.
“This act of violence will not define us; instead, it will fortify our commitment to justice, resilience, and the unwavering pursuit of a harmonious and inclusive society. We call upon the authorities to swiftly investigate this incident and bring the perpetrators to justice. We request the BARMM government to assist our authorities to bring the perpetrators to Justice.
