Itinalaga bilang pinuno ng Boy Scout of the Philippines si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. kasabay ng grand opening ng 18th National Scout Jamboree (NSJ) sa lungsod ng Passi ngayong Disyembre 11.
Pinangunahan ni Dale Corvera, Boys Scout of the Philippines (BS) National President at Passi City Mayor Stephen A. Palmares na siya ring camp chief ng 18th NSJ, ang formal investiture ni Pangulong Marcos batay sa Section 4 ng Republic Act No. 7278.
Pinasuotan ni Corvera si Pangulong Marcos ng neckerchief at chief scout medallion bago pa man ibinigkas ng Pangulo ang oath of office at sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ang panunumpa at batas ng scout. | ulat ni Merianne Grace Ereñeta | RP1 Iloilo
