Upang mas mapadali pa ang pagpasok ng mga pasahero at maiwasan ang congestion sa bawat istasyon ng tren, inilunsad ng LRT line 1 ang QR code at Beep Card lanes.

Ito ay para na rin mas mapaganda pa ang serbisyo sa mga tumatangkilik ng nasabing revenue line.

Ayon kay LRMC Head of Operations Andrea Madrid na layon ng kanilang naturang programa ay para maiwasan na ang nakapahabang pila tuwing rush hour at mabilis nang makakapasok sa platform area ang mga pasahero.

Dagdag pa ni Madrid, napapanahon ang naturang programa dahil ngayon ay holiday season at dumadami na ang mga pasahero.

Samantala, nakahanda naman ang LRMC sa inaasahang buhos ng mga pasahero sa mga susunod na araw. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
