200 pulis, ipakakalat ng QCPD para sa seguridad ng 3-araw na selebrasyon ng Chinese New Year

Magpapakalat ang Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ng 200 pulis para magbigay ng seguridad sa tatlong araw na selebrasyon ng Chinese New Year 2024.

Ayon kay QCPD Director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, naka standby na ang District Reactionary Standby Support Force (DRSSF) para pigilan ang anumang banta ng mga lawless element sa mga pampublikong lugar gaya ng mga shopping mall, terminal, at iba pang transport hub.

Makakatuwang naman ng QCPD ang mga force multiplier mula Task-Force Disiplina at Department of Public Order and Safety, sa paghihigpit sa ilalatag na seguridad sa Banawe business district.

Babantayan din ang mga landmark sa lugar tulad ng Sheng Lian Temple, Buddhist Humanitarian Organization headquarters ng Tzu Chi Foundation, Filipino-Chinese Friendship arcs na “Paifangs” at Wow Toy Museum, at mga hidden culinary gem ng QC Chinatown District gayundin ang QC Chinatown Food, Arts and Crafts fair na Dragon Dance.

Ayon naman kay QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, inaasahan na nasa 100,000 indibidwal na karamihan ay local tourists ang makikiisa sa tatlong araw na selebrasyon ng Chinese New Year ngayong taon. | ulat ni Diane Lear
