Pumalo na sa mahigit 1,300 ang inilikas ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng tubig dulot ng walang humpay na ulan sa Mindanao.
Ayon sa PCG, karamihan sa mga na-rescue ay mula sa Davao City, Davao Oriental, Davao Del Norte at Davao de Oro na matinding binabaha dahil sa tatlong araw na pag-ulan.
Sa pagtutulungan ng PCG, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, at Coast Guardians volunteers, dinala sa evacuation centers ang mga inilikas na residente.
Mino-monitor na rin ng PCG ang kalagayan ng mga ilog sa siyudad ng Davao partikular na ang S.I.R. New Matina, dahil sinuspinde na ang byahe ng mga bangka doon.
