Nananatiling matatag ang ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Estados Unidos.
Ito ang binigyang diin ni US Secretary of State Antony Blinken sa courtesy call kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Malacañang.
“Our relationship, between the Philippines and the United States is in high – it’s something, that’s with great importance too and now we have your upcoming visit to Washington, to see President Biden also to have a trilateral meeting with President, Prime Minister Kishida,” -Secretary Blinken.
Ayon sa US Official, kahit maraming hamon at usapin ang kinahaharap at tinutugunan ng kanilang bansa, nakatuon pa rin ang kanilang atensyon at commitment sa relasyon ng US sa Indo-Pacific.
“We are working on a number of challenges around the world and have even discussed them with you, but I think so important to us is that even with dealing with those other challenges, our focus, our engagement, our commitment, to Indo pacific.” -Secretary Blinken.
Partikular na aniya ang alyansa ng Estados Unidos sa Pilipinas, na aniya ay isa sa mga prayoridad ni US President Joe Biden.
Ayon kay Blinken, ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit siya tumungo sa Pilipinas ngayong linggo.
